We called the manager when we got back to our hotel since we were still upset and again we were offered no apology and they basically said that there was nothing that they could do for us to redeem this situation!! Beware before you go here it is not worth your time!! 0 The waitstaff acted like they could careless they ruined his birthday dinner and didn't even give us a simple apology the whole entire night!! I will NEVER give this place my business or my hard earned money ever again!! The food and the customer service is horrible and way overpriced!! This happend on September 12, 2008. My boyfriends fish was cold and slimy and definitly not worth the 25.00 we paid for it!! I was so upset at this point we just wanted to leave. When I said something to the hostess, she basically stated that those seats are already taken and there was nothing that she can do at this point even though I had a reservation specifically asking for those seats!! The food was completley discusting!! I ordered the New York strip well done, the waiter brought it out rare to me when I informed him he told me he would take the same piece of meat and "throw" it back on the grill, it came back out tough and inedible.
I am truly blessed to be able to surround myself with so many members that are not only colleagues and friends but like family.I am just going to be honest, this is my first review and this was probably the worst experience we have ever had!! I had made reservations for my boyfriends birthday weeks in advance overlooking the harbor when we got there we were seated in the worst seats facing a wall what makes it worse was there were seats open by those windows when we were seated. Joining the Newport Beach Chamber was one of the best career decisions that I have made. Every single month I learn something new from an insider’s perspective. The Chamber hosts networking events, educational events and monthly Wake Up Newport meetings that have featured speakers with incredible knowledge that they are willing to share with us. You will find people that you truly want to do business with and who can help each other in so many ways. You never really know how much the city that you work or live in has to offer until you become involved.
I have become involved with the Boat Parade Awards Dinner, as well as the Membership Committee and I graduated from The Leadership Tomorrow Program in 2014. When you do this, the benefits are truly priceless. The Chamber really promotes getting involved with your fellow members and within the community. I have met so many amazing members, learned about their businesses, as well as learning about them as people too. It has helped me to grow both personally and professionally.
Becoming a member of the Newport Beach Chamber of Commerce has been an invaluable experience.
